Normal Saline 0.9% infusion contains purified sodium chloride (salt) solution. Normal Saline 0.9% infusion is used for the treatment of electrolyte imbalance due to dehydration and salt depletion. It
is also used as diluent for many medicines which is to be given parenterally. Normal Saline 0.9% infusion works by restoring the fluid imbalance and restoring salt and fluid levels in the body.
