Other General Warnings

• Your child develops skin rashes & allergic symptoms after taking this medicine, discontinue and consult a doctor.
• Your child is already taking any other medicines containing paracetamol.
• Your child has any pre-existing medical conditions or family history of any medical condition.

• Give Nimucold Syrup to your child as directed by your doctor.
• Use a spoon, cup, or dropper for exact quantities.
• Do not give more than the recommended dose.

• Store Nimucold Syrup below 30⁰C.

How Does It Work?

• Nimucold Syrup works by the combined action of its components. It has anti-allergic, antipyretic and decongestant properties.
• Paracetamol inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins (responsible for pain and inflammation) and also act on heat-regulating centres that reduce body heat (antipyretic effect).
• Chlorpheniramine is an anti-allergic agent. It helps in relieving symptoms of allergy. It works by blocking the release of specific natural substance histamine, which is responsible for allergic symptoms. Histamine is produced when the body detects any foreign substance.
• Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant. It works by reducing the swelling of blood vessels of nasal passage by constricting the blood vessels and thereby relieving nasal congestion or blockage and also increase the drainage of the sinus cavity.
• Sodium citrate liquifies the mucous and helps in its expulsion thereby clearing congestion.

Interactions with other medicines

• Certain medicines can interfere with the action of Nimucold Syrup if, taken at the same time.
• Thus, inform your doctor about all the medicine your child is currently taking, which includes all prescribed or non-prescribed herbal medicines, dietary supplements as well as other treatments if you are taking for any disorder.
