Nebivol 2.5 Tablet
Description
Nebivol 2.5mg Tablet is a prescription medicine that contains nebivolol as its active ingredient. It is mainly used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Keeping blood pressure under control is very important, as uncontrolled hypertension increases the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney disease. Your doctor will decide the right dose and duration based on your health condition.
This medicine works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, making it easier for blood to flow through them. By doing this, Nebivol 2.5mg Tablet helps lower blood pressure and allows the heart to pump blood more effectively. Regular use of this medicine helps protect your heart and improve overall cardiovascular health.
Since high blood pressure often does not cause obvious symptoms, many people may not realise they have it. Taking Nebivol 2.5mg Tablet regularly as prescribed is important to keep your blood pressure in check and prevent long-term complications. You can take this medicine with or without food, preferably at the same time every day.
For the best results, it is also recommended to make healthy lifestyle changes in conjunction with taking Nebivol 2.5mg Tablet. These include eating a low-salt, low-fat diet, exercising regularly, maintaining a healthy body weight, avoiding smoking, and limiting alcohol consumption. Such lifestyle habits enhance the effectiveness of the medicine and support long-term heart health.
Like all medicines, Nebivol 2.5mg Tablet may cause some side effects in certain individuals. Common symptoms include dizziness, fatigue, a slow heartbeat, or a headache. Most of these are mild and temporary, but if they persist or become bothersome, consult your doctor immediately. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without your doctor’s advice, as it may worsen your condition.
