Nebasulf Sprinkling powder is an antibiotic powder used for the treatment of bacterial skin infections. It is used to prevent infection on wounds, cuts, burns, surgical wounds, and skin ulcers. Nebasulf Sprinkling powder contains a combination of three antibiotics: neomycin, sulfacetamide, and bacitracin as active substances.
Nebasulf Sprinkling powder is meant for external application only. Do not ingest this medicine. Use this medicine exactly as recommended by the doctor. Nebasulf Sprinkling powder should not be used in children below 2 years.
Uses
- Nebasulf Sprinkling powder is used for the treatment of superficial bacterial skin infections.
- It is used to prevent infections on cuts, surgical wounds, scratches, skin injuries, burns, and skin ulcers.
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to neomycin, sulfacetamide, bacitracin, or any other ingredient of Nebasulf Sprinkling powder.
- If you have an ear problem or existing hearing loss.
- If you have kidney disease or kidney function problems.
- If you are using it for the treatment of external ear infections if you have perforations in the eardrum.

- You have a history of getting diarrhoea after using antibiotics.

- You should not apply this medicine to areas near to your eyes. In case your eyes come in contact with this powder rinse thoroughly with cold water immediately.

- Clean the affected and apply a thin layer of Nebasulf Sprinkling powder as prescribed by your doctor.
- Wash your hands before and after applying this powder and avoid contact with your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Storage and disposal
- Store Nebasulf Sprinkling powder at a temperature not exceeding 30ºC.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
