Naltima 50mg Tablet is a prescription medicine mainly used to treat opioid dependence and alcohol dependence. Opioid dependence is when a patient becomes physically dependent on an opioid-like subs

tance; their body relies on it to avoid withdrawal. Alcohol dependence is a medical condition characterised by current or past history of excessive drinking, a strong craving for alcohol and an inability to control alcohol consumption despite having problems with drinking. Naltima 50mg Tablet contains Naltrexone as their active ingredient. Naltrexone belongs to the class of medications called 'opioid-antagonist'. It works by blocking the effect of opioid receptors that decrease cravings and urges to use alcohol or opioids Naltima 50mg Tablet dosage and duration should be as advised by your doctor. There are also many side effects associated with this medicine, so it is advised to take it after the doctor’s consultation, and dosage must be carefully monitored. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor, as it can cause clinical worsening of your condition or may lead to withdrawal symptoms.
