Mupivate cream is meant for external use on the skin. Thus, it may not affect the ability to drive or handle machinery.

There is limited information about the effects of Mupivate cream with alcohol. However, avoid consuming alcohol in excess.

Use Mupivate cream as instructed by the doctor. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply the cream and gently massage. You may cover the treated area with a bandage. Wash your hands before and after using this cream unless your hands are the area to be treated.

Exercise caution while using Mupivate cream for treating skin with any open wounds. Do not use around eyes or nose. Don't apply for more than 10-days unless prescribed by your doctor. If used for long, you may develop a yeast infection.
