Momin-S ointment is a topical ointment that is used to reduce the redness and itchiness caused by certain skin problems like psoriasis and eczema. Psoriasis is a skin disease in which itchy, scaly, p

ink patches develop on the elbows, knees, scalp and other parts of the body. Dermatitis is a skin condition that occurs when the skin reacts to outside agents like chemicals, cleaning agents, causing the skin to become red and itchy. It contains a combination of mometasone and salicylic acid as its active ingredients that work by reducing redness and itching. Momin-S ointment is meant for external application only. You should use this ointment exactly as recommended by the doctor. Do not use more of the ointment or apply it more often than recommended by your doctor. Momin-S ointment is not recommended for use in children below 2 years of age.

Uses of Momin S Oint 15gm

Momin-S ointment is applied to the surface of the skin to reduce the redness and itching caused by certain skin conditions called psoriasis or eczema.

Contraindications of Momin S Oint 15gm

If you are allergic to mometasone, salicylic acid or any other ingredient of Momin-S ointment.
If you are allergic to any other corticosteroids like dexamethasone, cortisone. If you are not sure what these medicines are, please confirm with your doctor.

Mode of Action of Momin S Oint 15gm

How Does It Work?

Momin-S ointment contains mometasone and salicylic acid as its active ingredients.
Mometasone is a corticosteroid that reduces redness and itchiness.
Salicylic acid is a keratolytic (peeling agent) that softens and removes psoriasis scales causing the outer scaly skin to shed.

Directions for Use of Momin S Oint 15gm

Momin-S ointment should be used as recommended by your doctor.
Clean and dry your hands before applying the ointment.
Apply a thin layer of the medication only to the affected areas and rub gently to cover the entire affected area.
In case your eyes come in contact with this ointment, rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.
