Mirnite 30 MG Description
Mirnite Tab is a prescription medicine used to treat major depressive disorder. It contains Mirtazapine which belongs to the class of medicines known as antidepressants. Consume the tablet at the
same time of the day as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. You should stick to the dose prescribed for optimum benefit from the medication. Do not stop taking Mirnite Tab without consulting your doctor. Side effects of Mirnite Tab include dry mouth, drowsiness, constipation, weight gain, increase in appetite, increase in blood cholesterol levels, nausea, vomiting, confusion, anxiety, dizziness, and seizures. However, these symptoms may disappear on their own. Consult your physician if the side effects last longer. Mirnite Tab should not be used for children below 18. Suicidal tendencies and mood changes may appear after taking this medicine. Any mood fluctuations should be carefully observed, and you should seek medical help from your doctor immediately.

Contraindications of Mirnite 30 MG
- If you are allergic or hypersensitive to Mirtazapine or any other component of Mirnite Tab.
- If you are on intravenous medications like methylene blue or linezolid.
- If you have been on monoamine oxidase inhibitor medication like Selegiline in the last 14 days.
- If you are having suicidal thoughts or behaviour.
- If you have diabetes mellitus.
- If you have low blood pressure.
- If you have problems passing urine.
- If you have glaucoma - a condition of increase in pressure inside the eyeball.

- You have liver-related issues.
- You are an older person. You could be more sensitive to the side effects of antidepressants.
- Your test reports show low white blood cell counts.
- You have kidney-related issues.
- You have a history of seizures.
- You have low sodium levels in your blood (Hyponatraemia).
- You have depression. You have bipolar disorder (manic depression).
- You have certain heart conditions that can affect your heart rhythms, such as a recent heart attack or heart failure, or you're taking certain medications that affect it.
- You have low blood pressure.
- You have diabetes (you may need to adjust your insulin dose or other antidiabetic medicines).

How Does It Work?
Directions for Use of Mirnite 30 MG
- Mirnite Tab should be used as advised by your doctor.
- Mirnite Tabb can be taken with or without food.
- The tablet should be swallowed whole along with a glass of water.
- You should not break or chew a Mirnite Tab.
- Mirnite Tab should be taken at a fixed time every day to maintain a constant level of medicine in the body and achieve the desired clinical effect.

- Anti-anxiety medicines like Alprazolamincreasee side effects like drowsiness, dizziness, difficulty concentrating, and confusion).
- Opioid pain medicines like Codeineincreases the risk of serotonin syndrome - high serotonin levels in the body resulting in symptoms such as confusion, hallucinations, seizures, extreme changes in blood pressure, blurry vision, and excessive sweating....
- Migraine medicines like Zolmitriptan, Sumatriptan increases the risk of serotonin syndrome.
- Medicines for mood and thought disorders like lithium increase side effects like drowsiness, dizziness, difficulty concentrating, and confusion.
- Antidepressants like Amitriptyline, Desipramine, Doxepin, Amoxapine, Clomipramine increase the risk of serotonin syndrome.
- Blood thinners/Antiplatelet agents like Warfarin and Aspirin increase bleeding risk.
