Medical Description

Mintop Gain + 10 solution is a combination medication containing Minoxidil and Finasteride. It is used to treat hair loss in men. Minoxidil works by widening blood vessels, improving blood flow to hair follicles, preventing hair loss and promoting hair regrowth. Finasteride works by reducing the production of a hormone in the scalp that inhibits hair growth, helping to reverse balding and prevent further hair loss.

Use the Mintop Gain + 10 solution as directed by your doctor or the label. Apply to a clean, dry scalp. It may take several months to see results, with initial growth possibly being soft and colourless. Use exactly as prescribed; more will not hasten growth and may cause side effects. Continue as long as prescribed to maintain hair growth. Consult your doctor if there's no improvement after 4-6 months. This solution is for men only and not for women. Avoid contact with eyes, ears, nose, mouth, or any cut/exposed skin or scalp.

Common side effects of using Mintop Gain + 10 solution include reactions at the application site, dry skin, impotence, decreased libido, ejaculation disorders, breast enlargement and tenderness in males, and skin rash. If the medication comes into contact with other parts of the body, it may cause unwanted hair growth. Should it accidentally get into your eyes, mouth, or broken skin, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. If you experience bothersome side effects or if they persist, consult your doctor.

Mintop Gain + 10 solution is used to treat male pattern baldness, premature or hereditary baldness, and hair loss in men. This medicine is recommended for hair regrowth in males only.

If you are allergic to minoxidil and finasteride or any other ingredient of Mintop Gain + 10 solution
If you are a female of childbearing age or planning to become pregnant.

Mintop Gain should not be used by pregnant women as it has a high potential to cause birth defects in the unborn baby.

Breast Feeding

Can I apply Mintop Gain Skin Solution while breastfeeding?

Mintop Gain Skin Solution is secreted in breast milk, though the exact amounts cannot be ascertained. Use as a topical solution (on the skin surface) may not lead to a significant rise in the blood levels of the medicine. However, it is advisable to avoid using this medicine in breastfeeding women, unless suitable alternatives do not exist.

Driving

Can I drive if I have applied Mintop Gain Skin Solution?

Mintop Gain Skin Solution is not known to affect an individual's ability to drive. However, in the presence of heart disease or symptoms like rapid heartbeats, chest pain, feeling dizzy, or vision problems, it is advisable to avoid driving.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Mintop Gain Skin Solution?

No known interaction with alcohol.

Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if

You have a history of or at risk for heart disease (heart attack, rhythm problems, diseases of heart valves, heart failure, etc.).
You have high blood pressure and are on treatment for the same.
You are a female patient of childbearing age or planning a pregnancy.
You have any liver problems.
Discontinue the medication You start experiencing any weight gain, swelling of feet, irritation, or redness of the scalp, or unwanted facial hair growth.
You do not notice any effect after 4- 6 months of use, kindly contact your doctor for further evaluation.

Directions for Use of MINTOP GAIN PLUS 10% BOTTLE OF 60ML SOLUTION

Use Mintop Gain + 10 solution only when the scalp or the hair is dry. There is no need to shampoo the hair before or after each application.
Use the applicator to fill in 1 ml of the solution. Then, place it over your head where the hair is thinning and squeeze the bulb of the applicator.
Now use your fingertip and spread the solution evenly over the area.
Do not squeeze the whole 1 ml at a time.
You may apply small amounts and apply thoroughly using your fingertips.
Wash your hands after application.
Ensure it does not trickle on the face as that can cause unwanted hair growth on the face.
Regular hair baths (with mild shampoo) and hair dye need not be discontinued while using this medicine.

Missed a Dose

If you miss an application of Mintop Gain Skin Solution, then apply it as soon as possible. Do not over apply to compensate for the missed dose.
Missing one or two doses is not going to affect its efficacy or change the outcome. Continue with your next application as per the schedule.
Remember to maintain a 12-hour gap between 2 doses and not to apply more than 2 ml (1 ml twice) within 24 hours.
