Mezol eye drops are an ocular anti-allergic medicine. It contains naphazoline, chlorpheniramine, and methylcellulose as its active components. Mezol eye drops are used to decrease the redness of the
eyes, which may be due to allergic reactions, dusty or smoky atmosphere, eye strains, or due to chlorine in swimming pools. This medicine shrinks the blood vessels of the eye and decreases the redness of the eyes. Do not use this medicine once its colour gets changed or becomes cloudy. Use this medicine exactly as advised by the doctor. Avoid wearing contact lenses while on treatment. Before using Mezol eye drops, please discuss with your doctor if you have any other eye conditions. If irritation persists or increases after the use of this medicine, discontinue use and consult the doctor. Mezol eye drops are not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.
