Directions for Use
Take the medicine exactly as directed by your doctor. Mexitil Tablet is to be administered orally either with food or with antacid. This prevents stomach upset.

- Administering mexelitine with caffeine can lower its urine levels by 50%
- Giving Mexitil Tablet with theophylline may increase its urine level
- Medications like cimetidine, fluvoxamine, propafenone, rifampin, anti-seizure medicines (such as phenytoin, phenobarbital) can affect the removal of mexiletine from your body, which may affect how mexiletine works...
