Met Xl 100mg Tab is a selective beta-1 blocker, which affects the heart and circulation (blood flow through arteries and veins). It is commonly available as succinate and tartrate derivatives depending on whether Met Xl 100mg Tab formulation is designed for immediate- or extended-release. It is also used to lower the risk of death or the need for hospitalization due to a heart failure.
