Medical Description

Mahacef-Plus tablet is used to treat typhoid fever and urinary tract infections. It contains a combination of cefixime and ofloxacin as its active ingredients. Mahacef Plus fights against the infection-causing bacteria, thus preventing their growth and spread.

Take medicine as prescribed for the advised duration. You should take Mahacef Plus with meals to avoid stomach upset. Do not stop taking medicine on your own without the knowledge of the doctor. Zifi O 200 tablets, Taxim Of tablets, Cefix O tablets, Ceftas O tablets and Zanocin Plus tablets are some other medicines with a combination of cefixime and ofloxacin.

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and dizziness are some common side effects of the Mahacef-Plus tablet. Most of them are temporary, but if you feel the side effects persist or your condition worsens, you should contact your doctor immediately.

Mahacef Plus tablets should not be used in children below 18 years of age. Inform the physician if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding. You must inform the doctor about the medicines, herbal supplements you take, and the conditions or diseases you suffer from before starting Mahacef Plus.
