Ceftas O Strip Of 10 Tablets Description

Ceftas O tablet is an antibiotic, used to treat typhoid fever and urinary tract infections. It is a combination medicine containing cefixime and ofloxacin as an active ingredient. It works by inhibit

ing the growth of causative organisms. Take the Ceftas O tablet at the prescribed dose and for the exact duration. You can take this medicine with or without food. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly, as it can result in treatment failure. Inform your doctor if you have any medical conditions and are on any other medications. This medicine should not be taken by children below 18 years of age.

  • You are experiencing fits, difficulty in movement, confusion, other mental disorders (Psychosis).
  • You are experiencing pain, a pins-and-needles sensation, numbness and weakness in various body parts.
  • You experience suicidal thoughts, immediately consult your doctor.
  • You are experiencing irregular heartbeats, low potassium levels or have had heart disease.
  • You are taking blood thinners like warfarin or any other vitamin K antagonists.
  • You are diabetic taking medicines. Close monitoring of blood glucose may be needed.

  • You must avoid unnecessary exposure to sunlight or UV rays during treatment and for 48 hours after treatment.
  • Ceftas O tablet should not be given to children or growing adolescents as it may interfere with their growth.
