Medical Description
Lobate-GM Neo cream is a skin medication used to treat infections that cause redness, itching, or swelling. It combines three active ingredients: clobetasol, a steroid that reduces inflammation; neomycin, an antibacterial that fights harmful bacteria; and miconazole, an antifungal that controls fungal infections. Together, they help relieve discomfort and promote healing.
This cream is for external use only. Apply a thin layer as directed by your doctor and wash your hands thoroughly afterwards. Be careful not to touch your eyes, mouth, or nose after application. To prevent spreading the infection, keep the affected area clean and avoid touching healthy skin immediately after use.
Some people may experience mild side effects such as irritation, burning, or redness at the application site. These typically resolve on their own. However, if the irritation persists or worsens, consult your doctor.
Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to conceive. It is also essential to share your complete medical history, especially if you have sensitive skin or have reacted to topical creams previously.
Do not apply Lobate-GM Neo cream on broken, raw, or severely infected skin, as this may increase the risk of adverse effects. Using this cream for a prolonged period or in excessive amounts can cause skin thinning and other side effects, so always follow your doctor’s recommended dosage and duration.

How Does It Work?
- Clobetasol is a steroid which acts by blocking the synthesis of natural substance, i.e. prostaglandins which is responsible for itching, swelling and redness.
- Miconazole works by inhibiting the formation of a fungal cell wall component which leads to altered permeability and growth of fungus causing infection.
