Medical Description

Lary Spray is used to treat and provide relief from the pain and irritation associated with sore throats. It contains chlorhexidine and lidocaine as active ingredients. A sore throat can be caused due to various reasons like excessive use of vocal cords (shouting and screaming), throat infection, pollution, change in weather or eating cold foods. This mouth spray should not be used in children under 12 years of age. Do not use and consult your doctor if you have difficulty swallowing. Do not use Lary spray for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Uses

Lary Spray is used to provide relief from sore throat.

Contraindications

  • If you are allergic to chlorhexidine, lidocaine/lignocaine or any other ingredient of Lary Spray.
  • If you are allergic to any other local anaesthetics like ropivacaine, bupivacaine, prilocaine, amethocaine. If you are not sure what these medicines are, please confirm with your doctor.
  • If you have difficulty in swallowing.
  • If you are under 12 years of age.

  • Open your mouth.
  • Point the spray nozzle towards the mouth.
  • Spray it to deliver the Lary Spray in the mouth.
  • Do not overspray or underspray. Take it according to the directions mentioned in the package or by your doctor.

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

The symptoms of overdose of Lary Spary are loss of sensation/numbness in the vocal cords and difficulty in swallowing. Lary Spary is meant for local external application and hence the cases of overdose are unlikely. However, upon accidental ingestion, visit the nearest hospital or contact your doctor immediately.

Missed a Dose

If you missed any spray dose of Lary Spray, use it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next application, then skip the missed application and continue with your regular application schedule. Do not overuse to compensate for the missed application.
