Lancer 15 MG Description

Lancer 15mg capsules contain lansoprazole as the active molecule. Lansoprazole belongs to a category of medications called as proton pump inhibitors. This medicine lowers the amount of acid secretion

in stomach, thereby reducing acidity. This capsule is widely used to treat different types of ulcers in the digestive system, gastrointestinal reflux disease, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, Helicobacter pylori infection, and reflux oesophagitis. Lancer capsules can be given to adults and children above one year; however, the dose and duration of treatment differs according to the age. This medication should be taken half hour before consuming food to obtain maximum benefits. You should consume this medicine for the duration recommended by the doctor.

Patients taking Lansoprazole Capsules may have side symptoms such as dizziness, vertigo, fatigue, and vision problems. Therefore, you must avoid driving after taking Lancer capsules.

How Does It Work?

Lancer works by lowering the amount of acid in the stomach, thereby alleviating acid indigestion and heartburn.

Directions for Use of Lancer 15 MG

Always follow your doctor's instructions when taking this medication
With a glass of water, swallow the capsule whole. If you have trouble swallowing the capsules, talk to your doctor about other methods to take your prescription.
Avoid chewing or breaking the capsules

Interactions with other medicines

Co-administration of HIV protease inhibitors such as atazanavir and nelfinavir with Lansoprazole decreases the blood levels of these medicines
Co-administration of itraconazole and ketoconazole with lansoprazole decreases the blood levels of ketoconazole and itraconazole
Co-administration of digoxin with lansoprazole increases the blood levels of digoxin
Lansoprazole increases blood levels of warfarin, tacrolimus, and theophylline
Co-administration of fluvoxamine increases blood levels of lansoprazole for up to four times
Rifampicin reduces the blood levels of lansoprazole
Lansoprazole increases the blood levels of methotrexate
Antacids or sucralfate medicines reduces the blood levels of lansoprazole

Keep this medication out of children's sight and reach
Do not use Lancer Capsules after the expiry date
Store at a temperature of no more than 25°C
To avoid moisture, keep the product in its original packaging
Do not dispose of medications in the wastewater or household waste
