Medical Description

K Cit Oral Solution is a combination medicine that helps make your urine less acidic and reduces irritation while urinating. Sometimes called a urinary alkalizer. This medicine is also used to treat acidosis or to prevent gout or kidney stones. This systemic alkalizer contains a combination of potassium citrate and citric acid, as its active components. It maintains the urine alkalinity urine for the long term. K Cit Oral Solution should be used under medical supervision only and follow all the instructions given in the leaflet. Before using this, inform your doctor about other medicines and herbal or nutritional supplements including health conditions. You should take it for the prescribed duration, do not stop even if you feel better.

Uses

  • K Cit Oral Solution acts as a urinary alkalizer and maintains urine alkalinity for long term.
  • It is used to treat conditions that develop due to higher acid levels, such as kidney stones, gout, or metabolic acidosis caused by a kidney problem.
  • Helps in managing the condition of hypokalemia (excessive potassium loss in urine due to prescription medications that increase urination).

Contraindications
