Medical Description
Jackpod CV syrup is an antibiotic combination used to treat selected bacterial infections of the lungs, airways, throat, sinuses, ears, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues. It contains cefpodoxime proxetil, which stops bacteria building their protective cell wall, and clavulanic acid, which blocks enzymes that can break down this antibiotic. Together they help clear susceptible bacteria, but they do not treat viral colds or flu. Jackpod CV syrup is taken by mouth after shaking and measuring the liquid with the supplied device, with food when advised.
