Ivrea 0.5 % Description

Ivrea shampoo is an anti-lice medicine used in the treatment of head lice. It contains ivermectin as its active component. It works by attaching to the muscle and nerve cells of the parasite and increases the permeability of the outer membrane, eventually causing paralysis and death of the parasite and thus treating the infection. It is meant only for topical application and should be used exactly as recommended by the doctor.

Your doctor will instruct you on how to use Ivrea Shampoo and how much you require. To ensure that you use the shampoo correctly, read the instructions that come with it. It is only for external use and should only be used on the hair and scalp.

If it comes into contact with your eyes, mouth, or nose, immediately rinse them with plenty of water. Apply it to your dry hair and scalp, starting with the scalp and working your way out to the ends. After applying, wait 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with warm water. After that, use a fine-toothed comb to remove any remaining lice.
