Itragreat 200mg tablet contains Itraconazole, an antifungal medicine. Itragreat 200mg tablet works by blocking the formation of the cell membrane of the fungus by inhibiting an enzyme, thus the fungi

stop multiplying or die because of the non-formation of the complete cell membrane. It is used to treat fungal infections.

Itragreat 200mg tablet is used for the treatment of fungal infections in the vagina, nails, skin, mouth, eyes and other internal organs.

Contraindications of Itragreat 200 MG

You are allergic to Itraconazole or any other ingredients of this medicine.
If you are suffering from heart problems.
If you are pregnant or planning for a baby.

Precautions and Warnings of Itragreat 200 MG

Pregnancy

Can I take the Itragreat 200mg tablet during pregnancy?

Itraconazole is unsafe during pregnancy. You should not take Itraconazole if you are pregnant or planning to have a baby, as this medicine may harm your baby.
If you are taking Itraconazole, then use contraception through the treatment and at least for 2 months even after stopping the medicine.

Breast Feeding

Can I take the Itragreat 200mg tablet while breastfeeding?

Itragreat 200mg tablet can pass into the breastmilk. It is advised not to take the medicine unless prescribed by your doctor.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed the Itragreat 200mg tablet?

You may experience dizziness, blurred or double vision, hearing loss while taking this medicine. If you experience any of these symptoms, you should not drive or use any tools or machines while taking this medicine.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with the Itragreat 200mg tablet?

Avoid excess alcohol while taking this medicine, as alcohol may worsen the side effects like dizziness.

Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if

You have severe liver or kidney problems.
You have or had heart problems like heart failure.
You experience shortness of breath, unexpected weight gain, swollen legs or stomach or tiredness. Stop taking this medicine as these may be signs of heart failure.
