• Treatment of certain cancers including ovarian carcinoma, breast carcinoma, testicular carcinoma,hyper nephrone, pancreatic carcinoma and malignant lymphoma.
• Mesna is included in this combination pack specifically to help prevent bladder and urinary tract toxicity (including haemorrhagic cystitis) caused by ifosfamide.

• If you have a known hypersensitivity to ifosfamide or any component of the formulation.
• If you have a urinary outflow obstruction.
• Severe bone marrow suppression, cystitis, renal or hepatic impairment, or an acute infection may also require treatment to be withheld or avoided, as indicated by your doctor.

• Low white blood cell count (leukopenia), low platelet count, anaemia

Other General Warnings

• You have kidney, liver, or bladder problems.

• You develop confusion, unusual drowsiness, or seizures.
• You are planning to have children, as ifosfamide can affect fertility in both men and women.
• You have pre-existing heart or lung disease or have previously received treatments that may affect the heart or lungs.

Overdose

• There is no specific antidote for ifosfamide overdose.
