Description
Halaven 1mg Injection is used to treat breast cancer. It contains the active substance eribulin, which belongs to the class of antineoplastic agents. Halaven 1mg Injection can be administered alone or in combination with certain other medicines as part of combination chemotherapy. It is given as an injection under the supervision of a doctor. Your doctor will determine the necessary dose and how often you need to take it. The most common side effects of this medicine include weakness, hair loss, nausea, and constipation. Before taking it, inform your doctor if you have heart disease, liver or kidney issues, or if you are taking any medications to treat infections. Many other medicines can affect or be affected by this medicine, so make sure to inform your doctor about all medications you are currently using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Effective contraception for both males and females during treatment is essential to prevent pregnancy.

Other General Warnings
- You experience signs or symptoms of peripheral motor and sensory neuropathy (e.g., numbness, tingling, weakness in your arms or legs).
- You have pre-existing neuropathy greater than Grade 2.
- You have congestive heart failure.
- You have bradyarrhythmias (slow heart rate).
- You are taking other medications known to prolong the QT interval, including Class Ia and III antiarrhythmics.
- You have electrolyte abnormalities such as hypokalaemia (low potassium), hypocalcaemia (low calcium), or hypomagnesaemia (low magnesium).
- You have congenital long QT syndrome.
