  • You develop fever, chills, cough, or other signs of infection, as Halaven injection can lower white blood cell counts.
  • You have heart problems or take medicines affecting heart rhythm, as Halaven injection may prolong the QT interval.
  • You have liver or kidney impairment, as a dose reduction may be required.
  • You are planning to have children, as Halaven injection may affect fertility; discuss fertility preservation with your doctor.
  • You are considering vaccination, as your immune response may be reduced during treatment.

This injection will be given into a vein by a doctor or nurse in a hospital or clinic. Do not self-inject. Your oncology team will decide how your treatment is given and monitor you.
