Gudlax-Plus Laxative suspension contains a combination of sodium picosulfate, milk of magnesia, and liquid paraffin as active substances.
Sodium picosulfate works by stimulating the movements of the large intestine and accumulating water inside the colon.
Liquid paraffin acts by softening the stool, thus helping to defecate easily.
Magnesium hydroxide (milk of magnesia) acts as an antacid as well as laxative. It neutralizes the acid as well as increases the retention of the water in the intestine.
