Gudcef Cv Dry Syrup is used to treat bacterial infection caused by various types of susceptible microorganisms of the throat, ear, tonsils, airways, lungs, urinary tract and skin.

Contraindications of Gudcef Cv 100mg Dry Syrup 30ml

If your child is allergic to Cefpodoxime, Clavulanic acid or any other component of Gudcef Cv Dry Syrup.

  • Diarrhoea, vomiting, nausea, decreased appetite, dry mouth
  • Rash, fungal rash, redness of the skin
  • Stomach pain, headache, weakness, fever, fungal infection, sleepiness

Directions for Use of Gudcef Cv 100mg Dry Syrup 30ml

  • Take Gudcef Cv Dry Syrup as directed by your doctor.
  • For reconstitution, add boiled and cooled water, slightly below the mark on the bottle or as suggested by the doctor.
  • Shake well and make the volume up to the given mark on the bottle.
  • Use a measuring cup, spoon or a dropper for the exact quantity.
  • Reconstituted solutions should be used within the duration mentioned in the bottle.

Interactions with other medicines

  • Concomitant use of acid-lowering medicines such as Ranitidine, Cimetidine with Gudcef Cv Dry Syrup can decrease the effect of this medicine.
  • Concomitant use of Probenecid with Gudcef Cv Dry Syrup increases the effect of this medicine.
  • When medicines known to cause harm to the kidney such as amphotericin-B, vancomycin, amikacin are administered along with Gudcef Cv Dry Syrup. may increase the risk of kidney disease.
  • Discuss with your doctor about any other medicine, herbal preparations and supplements you are giving to your child currently to avoid interactions.

  • Store at temperature not exceeding 25°C. Protect from light and moisture.
