Mode of Action of Glyciphage 500 Mg Oral Solution 100 Ml

How Does It Work?

Insulin is a hormone secreted by the pancreas that is responsible for reducing the body's blood sugar levels. The metformin in Glyciphage 500 Mg Oral Solution 100 Ml works by helping the type 2 diabetic become more sensitive to the insulin the body produces. It also helps by reducing the quantity of sugar produced by the liver and decreasing the amount of sugar absorbed by the intestines. In this way, the blood sugar level is brought under control.
