Forecox Kit Description

Forecox Kit contains Tablets that are used for the treatment of tuberculosis or TB infection. It is composed of four active ingredients: isoniazid, rifampicin, ethambutol, and pyrazinamide. All are a

nti-tuberculosis (anti-TB) medicine. They each help kill the bacteria in various ways. It is essential not to stop using this medicine in the middle of the treatment, even if you feel better. Tuberculosis is a very contagious bacterial infection that affects the lungs. TB bacteria die very slowly, and it quickly develops resistance to anti-tuberculosis medicines. Hence, different combinations of anti-TB medications are used to kill them. The Forecox Tablet has four different anti-TB medicines. Doctors usually prescribe to take them for at least 6 to 9 months. The treatment duration depends on various aspects, which the doctors will assess and decide on a treatment plan. Continue the treatment for the entire course without stopping. Or else, the infection might come back, and it would get even harder to treat.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

^

Q: Can I wear contact lenses while using Forecox Kit Tablet?

A: It is not advisable to wear contact lenses while on this treatment. This medicine can change the colour of eyes, urine, etc., to orange. This colour change is not harmful. However, it can permanently change the colour of your contact lenses.

Q: Should I stop using Forecox Kit Tablet if I am feeling better?

A: No, do not stop using Forecox Kit Tablets any time in the middle of the treatment, even if you think you are feeling better. Tuberculosis bacteria die very slowly, and it takes a long time to completely eliminate them. If you stop in the middle, the bacteria will multiply again and may become resistant to the current treatment. This causes reinfection and makes it even harder to kill the bacteria.

Q: Can I use antacid medicines while using Forecox Kit Tablets?

A: It is not recommended to use both of them at the same time. Do not take antacids within two hours of taking Forecox Kit Tablet. Consult your doctor if you are feeling persistent stomach upset and have other stomach problems.
