How Does It Work?
Ethambutol+Isoniazid+Pyrazinamide+Rifampicin is composed of four anti-tuberculosis medications, namely rifampicin, isoniazid, pyrazinamide and ethambutol. Isoniazid prevents the Mycobacterium tuberculosis from forming a protective covering and rifampicin inactivates the bacterial enzyme responsible for the reproduction of essential proteins. Ethambutol and pyrazinamide together slow the growth of the bacteria. All these medicines work in combination to eliminate the infection and kill the bacteria.
