Medical Description

Fexuclue 40mg tablet is a medicine used to treat erosive esophagitis, a condition in which the lining of the food pipe (esophagus) becomes inflamed and develops erosions or breaks. This usually happens because of the backflow of acid from the stomach into the food pipe (acid reflux or GERD). It contains Fexuprazan, which belongs to a newer class of acid-reducing medicines called potassium-competitive acid blockers (P-CABs). It works by lowering the amount of acid made in the stomach, which helps the damaged lining of the food pipe to heal and eases symptoms such as heartburn and acid regurgitation. Fexuclue 40mg tablet can be taken with or without food, as advised by your doctor. Along with your medicine, some lifestyle changes may help you manage acid reflux better, such as eating smaller meals, eating slowly, not lying down soon after meals, limiting alcohol, avoiding smoking and maintaining a healthy weight. Take this medicine for the full duration advised by your doctor, even if you start to feel better.
