Medical Description
Eliyana LS tablet is a combined oral contraceptive used to prevent pregnancy. It contains ethinylestradiol, an oestrogen, and drospirenone, a progestogen, in a combination that prevents ovulation and makes it harder for sperm to reach an egg. It also changes the lining of the womb, which further lowers the chance of pregnancy. Eliyana LS tablet is swallowed with water according to the pack instructions and does not protect against sexually transmitted infections. It should not be used during pregnancy.
