Dorsun T Bottle Of 5ml Eye Drops

• If you are allergic to dorzolamide, timolol or any of the component Dorsun T eye drops.
• If you have lung conditions such as asthma or chronic lung disease (which may cause difficulty in breathing or chronic cough).
• If you have heart disease such as heart blockage, heart failure or decreased heart rate.
• If you have kidney failure or acidosis with increase chloride ions.

• Headache
• Burning and stinging
• Eyelid swelling
• Eyelid irritation
• Dry eyes

Other General Warnings

• You have any heart disease or condition such as decreased heart rate and blood pressure.
• You have lung conditions such as difficulty in breathing or asthma.
• You have a blood circulation disorder.
• You have hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid), low blood sugar, liver or kidney disease.
• You experience any allergic reaction or side effect after using this medicine.
• You had an eye surgery recently or have any other eye disease.
• You are on any other medication.

• Use Dorsun T eye drops exactly as instructed by your doctor.
• Follow the directions carefully and do not miss an application.
• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying.
• Close your eyes for 2 - 3 minutes and do not blink or squeeze.
• Avoid touching your eyes with the dropper. The dropper must be kept clean to avoid infections.
• Using a clean tissue or cloth, wipe any excess liquid from your face.
• Use the exact number of drops as recommended by your doctor.
• If you have been prescribed any other eye drops or eye ointments, keep an interval of at least 5 minutes between both medicines.

• Store Dorsun T eye drops at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
• Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Overdose

• As Dorsun T eye drops is meant for external application cases of overdose are unlikely. However, upon accidental ingestion contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
• If you have applied extra quantities of it wipe out the excess of the medicine with tissue or cotton.

Missed a Dose

How Does It Work?

• Dorsun T eye drops contain a combination of timolol and dorzolamide as active substances.
• Dorzolamide acts by decreasing the aqueous humor (fluid-filled in the eye) secretion and thus decreasing the fluid flow.
• Timolol acts by decreasing the aqueous humor production within the eye thereby lowering the fluid pressure built up within your eye.

Interactions with other medicines

• Since Dorsun T eye drops are to be used externally, it is less likely to interact with other medicines.
• However, consult your doctor if you are taking other medicines for treating any other health conditions.
• In particular, if you are taking medicines to treat high blood pressure, heart failure, high/abnormal cholesterol levels, blood thinners, anti-infectives, anti-diabetics, anti-asthmatics, pain killers, immunomodulatory medicines or medicines for the brain-related disorder.
