Distaclor 125 MG/5ML Description
Distaclor suspension is an antibiotic suspension that treats bacterial infections in children. The medications help treat susceptible infections in children's lungs, skin, urinary tract, eyes, nose,
throat, and ears. Do not exceed the number of doses per day. Take this medication for the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. If you feel no difference upon completion of the treatment, inform your doctor immediately. Common side effects include diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. If you observe these side effects for a prolonged time, inform your doctor immediately. Store the medication in a cool and dry place, away from direct heat. How Does It Work?
Distaclor suspension consists of cefaclor, an antibiotic, which works by preventing the bacteria's cell wall formation. Without the cell wall, the bacteria cannot replicate and survive in the human body. Cefaclor is bactericidal, which kills the bacteria by cell wall disruption....

Interactions of Distaclor 125 MG/5ML
Interactions with other medicines
- Do not use this medication and antacids; it results in the low activity of Distaclor suspension
- Co-administration of ketoconazole and ticagrelor increased the Ticagrelor Cmax and area under curve by 89% therefore its use is contraindicated
- Co-administration of phenytoin, carbamazepine and phenobarbital with ticagrelor decreases the exposure and efficacy of ticagrelor
- Concomitant use of CYPA4 inhibitors like verapamil may increase ticagrelor exposure
- Co-administration of atorvastatin and ticagrelor increases the Cmax by 23% in ticagrelor
- Co-administration of ticagrelor and levonorgestrel, and ethinyl estradiol increased ethinyl estradiol exposure by 20%
- Concomitant use of this medication with medicinal products may induce bradycardia
