Diprobate Es Plus Oint 30gm Description

Diprobate-ES Plus Ointment is a combination medicine containing Betamethasone, salicylic acid and zinc oxide. It is used for the treatment of skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and other dry,

scaly conditions of the skin. Betamethasone works by decreasing swelling, redness and itchiness at the site of application by blocking chemicals responsible for swelling, redness and itchiness. Salicylic acid works by removing and shedding dead cells from the top layer of the skin by increasing skin moisture resulting in a decrease in scaling and dryness. Burning, itching, irritation, dryness at the site of application are some of the side effects of using this medicine.

Uses of Diprobate Es Plus Oint 30gm

Diprobate-ES Plus Ointment is used for the treatment of skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and other dry, scaly conditions of the skin.

Contraindications of Diprobate Es Plus Oint 30gm

If you are allergic to Betamethasone, Salicylic acid, zinc oxide or any other ingredients of the Diprobate-ES Plus Ointment.
If your skin has a condition called rosacea, acne vulgaris.
If you have itching over the genital area and around the anal area.
If you have a skin infection over the area around the mouth.
If you have a viral infection of the skin such as chickenpox or herpes infection.
If you have a bacterial or fungal infection.
Diprobate-ES Plus Ointment should not be used for the treatment of napkin eruption.

Side effects of Diprobate Es Plus Oint 30gm

Burning, itching, irritation, dryness at the site of application.
Increased growth of hair at the site of application.
Formation of an acne-like eruption at the site of application.

Pregnancy

Breast Feeding

Can I use the Diprobate-ES Plus Ointment while breastfeeding?

Components of Diprobate-ES Plus Ointment are not known to pass in breastmilk. It should not be applied to the breast of breastfeeding mothers or elsewhere on large areas of skin or for a prolonged period of time. Use this ointment in lactation only if it is prescribed by your doctor.

Can I drive if I have applied the Diprobate-ES Plus Ointment?

Diprobate-ES Plus Ointment may cause blurring of vision (frequency not known). Avoid driving if your vision is not clear.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with the Diprobate-ES Plus Ointment?

Alcohol is not known to interact with Diprobate-ES Plus Ointment. However, if you consume alcohol too often then discuss it with your doctor.

Mode of Action of Diprobate Es Plus Oint 30gm

How Does It Work?

Betamethasone works by decreasing the swelling, redness and itchiness at the site of application by blocking the chemicals responsible for swelling, redness and itchiness.
Salicylic acid works by removing and shedding dead cells from the top layer of the skin by increasing the skin moisture resulting in a decrease in scaling and dryness.
Zinc oxide has antiseptic properties and helps in treating dry, scaly conditions of the skin.

Directions for Use of Diprobate Es Plus Oint 30gm

Use Diprobate-ES Plus Ointment as directed by your doctor.
For external use only, apply it on a healthy skin surface free from cuts and wounds.
Wash your hands before and after using this medicine unless your hands are the area to be treated.
In case your eyes come in contact with this medicine rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.
