Deriva Ms 0.1 %W/W Description
Deriva Ms Gel is a derivative of Vitamin A. It is used to treat mild to moderate acne. It is also effective to reduce the redness and pain associated with pimples. It should not be used for children
and pregnant women. This gel tends may cause a burning sensation, redness and dryness of the skin at the site of application. In case you feel any discomfort or notice any severe skin reaction contact the doctor immediately.

Deriva Ms Gel should not be used during pregnancy as it can result in abnormalities in the unborn baby, especially in the first trimester.
Breast Feeding

Can I take Deriva Ms Gel while breastfeeding?

It can be used by lactating mothers. However, it should not be applied to the breast or areas near the breast of breastfeeding mothers as there can be chances of ingestion by a breastfed infant. Avoid using it on large areas of skin or for a prolonged period.
Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Deriva Ms Gel?

It does not influence driving ability.
Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Deriva Ms Gel?
A:
There is no direct interaction between alcohol and Deriva Ms Gel gel. However, alcohol is known to worsen the infection and inflammation; it's better to avoid consuming alcohol when you are prescribed with this gel.
Other General Warnings
Talk to your doctor if
- You are suffering from a skin condition known as eczema, you experience irritation when you apply this medicine on skin.
- Your doctor may change the dose
- You have any cuts or wounds on skin do not apply this cream on that area

How Does It Work?
It acts by affecting the growth of cells and decreasing swelling and inflammation.
Directions for Use of Deriva Ms 0.1 %W/W
Use this Deriva Ms Gel as directed by your doctor for external use only.
Wash your face before applying this gel and make sure that the affected area is dry before applying.
A thin layer of this gel should be applied to the affected area.
Eye and lips should be avoided.
In case your eyes come in contact with this gel, rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.
Wash your hands before & after using this medicine....
Interactions of Deriva Ms 0.1 %W/W
Interactions with other medicines
Deriva Ms Gel is meant for local application on skin and thus is less likely to interact with other medicines taken orally.
However, it may interact with other topically applied medicines or products.
The use of Astringents of peeling agents together with this cream can result in skin irritation.
The use of products containing certain chemical substances like alpha hydroxy acids, glycolic acid, hair perming solutions, cleansers and scrubs can interfere with the effects of this gel.

Dosage of Deriva Ms 0.1 %W/W
Overdose
If you use this medicine in an excess amount your skin may feel irritated and red. You may call your doctor if you feel severe allergic reactions.
If you missed any application of this gel, apply it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next application, skip the missed application and continue with your regular schedule. Do not overapply this medicine to compensate for the missed application....
