D Lorinol Tablet contains Desloratadine as its active ingredient. It is an anti-allergic medicine that does not make you sleepy, hence considered comfortable to take. This medicine helps you by providing relief from the symptoms of allergy (food allergy, dust allergy, etc.) like a running nose, sneezing, red and itchy eyes, hives and rashes on the skin.

Uses

For the treatment of Urticaria (hives on the skin that itch), a running nose, sneezing (allergic rhinitis).

Contraindications

If you have a known allergy to Desloratadine.

Tiredness
A dry mouth
Headache
Some very rare side effects are-
Severe allergic reaction (skin rashes, swelling in and around the mouth, difficulty in breathing)
Feeling sick (nausea)
Vomiting
An upset stomach
Diarrhoea
Dizziness
Drowsiness
Difficulty in falling asleep
Muscle pain

Pregnancy

D Lorinol Tablet is not recommended to take during pregnancy unless it is prescribed by your doctor.

Breast Feeding

D Lorinol Tablet should be avoided by breastfeeding mothers to reduce any chances of harm to the newborn baby. Take this medicine only if it is clearly needed and prescribed by your doctor.

Driving

D Lorinol Tablet does not affect your alertness or ability to drive as it does not make you sleepy. You may drive if you feel comfortable.

Alcohol
