Cyclotin Tablet is an antidepressant frequently used to treat depression and other mental diseases like panic disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Your doctor will determine the dosage and f
requency of administration so that you get the optimum amount to control your symptoms. Your doctor might recommend starting with a lower dose and gradually increasing it. Don't alter your dose or stop taking it without consulting your doctor. You may worsen your illness or have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms if you do so (anxiety, restlessness, palpitations, dizziness, sleep disturbances, etc.). Take Cyclotin medicine at the same time every day to obtain the most benefit. It could take a few weeks for you to feel better. Nausea, indigestion, dry mouth, exhaustion, loss of appetite, increased sweating, sinusitis, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), yawning, and odd dreams are some of the most common adverse effects of Cyclotin Tablet. - Cyclotin Tablet decreases serotonin reuptake; Serotonin syndrome can develop when taken with a serotonin agonist like buspirone.
- Carbamazepine metabolism may be blocked by Cyclotin Tablet, resulting in increased carbamazepine levels and toxicity.; keep an eye on your CBZ response.
- Cyclotin Tablet slows dextromethorphan metabolism; visual hallucinations occur in a patient getting this combination.
- Patients taking Cyclotin Tablet with lithium have had neurotoxicity. If a combination is used, keep an eye out for neurotoxicity.
- Cyclotin Tablet may impair the metabolism of metoprolol and propranolol, resulting in cardiac toxicity; if used together, bradycardia, hypotension, and heart failure should be avoided.
- Myositis and rhabdomyolysis may occur due to Cyclotin Tablet interfering with the metabolism of lovastatin and simvastatin.; hence, these medications should not be taken together.
- When Cyclotin Tablet is coupled with tramadol (which has serotonin-like properties), serotonin syndrome can occur; keep an eye on it.
