Cobate Gm Cream is a topical anti-microbial and steroid medicine. It is used to treat inflammation and swelling in various bacterial, fungal or mixed skin infections. Cobate Gm Cream contains a combi
nation of clobetasol, gentamicin, miconazole, clotrimazole and chlorocresol as active substances. This medicine works by helping to reduce the symptoms like redness, swelling and itchiness. Cobate Gm Cream should only be used externally and should not be ingested. Do not use it for treating any other skin condition without consulting your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant or breastfeeding, and about your complete medical history before using this medicine. Also, inform about all the medicines that you are applying on the skin.

Contraindications of Cobate Gm Cream 10gm
- If you are allergic to clobetasol, gentamicin, miconazole, clotrimazole, chlorocresol or any of the ingredients in Cobate Gm Cream.
- If you are using this medicine to treat infections in your genital areas, face, acne, around the mouth, scalp or nail and skin perforations.
- If you have any untreated skin infections or skin thinning problems.
- If you have chickenpox, shingles, warts or any other wounds and skin infections.
- If you are using this medicine in children below 1 year of age.

- Clobetasol is a steroid that acts by blocking the production of a natural substance called prostaglandin, which is responsible for itching, swelling and redness.
- Gentamicin is an antibiotic agent which is widely used for treating various bacterial infections of the skin. It works by preventing the growth and multiplication of infection-causing bacteria.
- Miconazole and clotrimazole are antifungal medicines that work by preventing the formation of a fungal cell wall component. This leads to the formation of a defective cell wall which ultimately kills the infection-causing fungus. ...

- Use Cobate Gm Cream exactly as directed by your doctor.
- It is meant for external use only and should not be ingested.
- Apply it on a healthy skin surface free from cuts and wounds.
- Wash your hands before and after using Cobate Gm Cream unless your hands are the area to be treated.
- Apply a thin layer of the medicine and rub gently to cover the affected area.
- In case of contact with your eyes, wash your eyes with clean water immediately.

Overdose
- Upon accidental ingestion of Cobate Gm Cream, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
- If you think you have applied extra quantities of this medicine, wipe out the excess with a clean tissue or cotton.
Missed a Dose
- If you missed applying Cobate Gm Cream, apply it as soon as you remember.
- If it's time for your next application, then skip the missed application and continue with your regular dosing schedule.
- Do not overapply to compensate for the missed application.
