Clonotril 2 MG Description

Clonotril 2 Mg Tablet is a prescription medication primarily used for treating epilepsy (seizures). It is also used to treat panic disorder. Epilepsy is a medical condition caused due to overactivity

of the brain. Clonotril Tablet helps in stabilising the seizure by lowering the excess activity of nerves in the brain. Clonotril Tablet is composed of clonazepam 2mg, which belongs to the benzodiazepine class of medicine. It is a tranquilliser. It reduces the neurological activity in the brain by increasing certain chemicals. Clonotril Tablet should be used only on the advice of a doctor. Avoid using it unnecessarily or without medical advice as it may lead to the development of tolerance. Tell your doctor about the history of past illness and the medications you are taking. This medicine can cause behavioural changes and increase the tendency of suicidal thoughts. It also causes dependency if used for the long term. Hence, it is crucial to monitor the dosage and not use it for long. Also, you should not stop using this medicine abruptly as it can lead to withdrawal symptoms.
