Candiforce Capsule is used to treat fungal and yeast infections in various parts of the body, such as the skin, mouth, nails, feet, and hands. It contains itraconazole as the active ingredient. Candiforce is an antifungal medication that works by targeting the cell wall of fungi, thereby inhibiting their growth and leading to cell death. It is important not to stop taking Candiforce Capsule abruptly, as this may result in treatment failure and increase the risk of re-infection.

Uses

Candiforce Capsule is used to treat fungal and yeast infection such as infections of the mouth or vagina (causing thrush), skin infections and infections affecting other parts of the body.

Contraindications

If you are allergic to itraconazole, other similar medicines, or any other ingredient of Candiforce Capsule.
If you have liver problems or heart-related disorders like irregular heartbeats.
If you are pregnant or planning for a baby.

Precautions and Warnings

Pregnancy

Candiforce Capsule must not be taken by pregnant women. If consumed during pregnancy it increases the risk of foetal harm including severe birth defects when consumed during pregnancy at high doses. Talk to your doctor for more information.

Breast Feeding

Avoid Candiforce Capsule while breastfeeding as it is known to pass into the mother's milk and affects the baby.

Driving

Alcohol

This combination is strictly forbidden for oral use. If you require a sedative or anxiety treatment while taking your antifungal, your doctor will select an alternative medication that bypasses this liver clearance route.

Effect

Candiforce 200 Capsule completely blocks the liver pathway used to clear this cholesterol medication. This causes Simvastatin to accumulate rapidly in your system, dramatically increasing the risk of severe muscle breakdown, dark urine, and acute kidney failure.

Advice

Do not take these medications together. You must temporarily stop taking Simvastatin while you are undergoing your antifungal treatment. Talk to your doctor about when it is safe to restart your cholesterol regimen after completing your capsules.
