- Buvalor 5 MCG Patch helps in the management of the following conditions:
- Opioid dependence or opioid addiction.
- Moderate to severe pain that affects the joints and muscles.
- Rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis. (Rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis is a condition that affects the joints). The patch helps you go about your day-to-day activities more easily. You can have a better, more active, and quality life.
Contraindications
- If you have an allergy to Buvalor 5 MCG Patch or Buprenorphine
- If you have severe kidney disease
- If you have a severe liver disease
- If you are under 18 years of age
- If you have an alcohol addiction
- If you have a drug addiction
- If you have used antidepressants (medicines used to treat depression, such as MAO inhibitors)

Directions for Use
- Your doctor will advise you on how to use the Buvalor 5 MCG Patch.

- Never self-medicate:
- Your doctor will conduct a thorough evaluation and prescribe Buvalor 5 MCG Patch only if it is helpful to you. Discuss your detailed medical history with your doctor, including any diseases you are suffering from, any allergy, any medicines you are taking, any hereditary diseases running in your family, detailed medical history of your family, etc.
- How to apply the Buvalor 5 MCG Patch?
- Follow your doctor’s instructions.
- Read the label carefully.
- Ensure the skin is clean and dry, rash, hairless, or nearly hairless. Apply the patch in your upper chest, back, arm, or side of the chest. Remember, your skin is not the same everywhere on your body. Apply the patch only in the recommended area suggested by your doctor.
- Remember to use only water to clean the skin. Soap, gels, or oils might alter the absorption of the medicine.
- Peel the protective liner of the Buvalor 5 MCG Patch. Do not touch the sticky side.
- With the sticky side down/ towards the skin, place the Buvalor 5 MCG Patch evenly onto your skin. Apply gentle pressure to ensure the patch is firmly seated.
- Ensure you do not expose the patch to heat sources, such as sauna baths.
- Change the patch after every seven days. Apply the new patch to a new area.
