Bosentas 62.5 Tablet
Description
Bosentas is an anti-hypertensive medicine that is specifically used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). PAH is a condition of high pressure in the blood vessels that carry blood from the heart to the lungs. It contains Bosentan as its active ingredient.
It can be taken with or without food. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding and also about all the medicines and supplements you take and all the conditions or diseases you suffer from, before starting this medicine.

Uses
- Pulmonary arterial hypertension (high pressure in the blood vessels that carry blood from the heart to the lungs).
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to bosentan or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
- If you have liver problems.
- If you are taking immunosuppressants such as ciclosporin A (a medicine used after a transplant or to treat psoriasis).
- If you are pregnant or a woman of childbearing age and not using any contraceptive measures.

- Especially if you are taking any anti-diabetic medicines, immunosuppressants such as tacrolimus, hormonal contraceptive pills, anti-fungal medicines such as ketoconazole, cholesterol-lowering medicines, medicines for erectile dysfunction, etc....
- Other medicines that should be used with caution are anticoagulant medicines, anti-tuberculosis medicines like rifampicin, anti-epileptic medicines such as phenytoin, anti-HIV medicines, and anti-depressant medicines such as St. John’s wort, etc....
