Bosentan is a medicine used for treating high blood pressure in the lungs (known as pulmonary arterial hypertension).
Uses
It is used to treat ulcers on fingers and toes, patient with a skin disease called scleroderma.
Contraindications
When should one not use Bosentan
- If you have an allergy to Bosentan
- If you have moderate to severe liver disease
- If you are taking Ciclosporin A medicine
- If you are pregnant

Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
It decreases both pulmonary and systemic vascular resistance and causes blood vessels to expand, which results in increased cardiac output without increasing heart rate.
