Azithral 500 MG Description

Azithral 500 tablet is an antibiotic medicine. It is used to treat various bacterial infections like tonsilitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, sinusitis, ear inflammation (otitis media), skin and soft tissue infections and certain sexually transmitted infections. It contains azithromycin as its active ingredient. Azithral 500 tablet works by killing the bacteria responsible for the infection.

Take Azithral 500 tablets in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. You can take it with or without meals. Do not stop taking this medicine even if you feel better within a few days. Always finish the course of prescribed antibiotic medicines for effective treatment.

If you experience common side effects like diarrhoea after taking this medicine, it is suggested to drink enough fluids and stay hydrated. Not everyone gets these side effects and they usually go away with time. Inform your doctor if these symptoms are severe or do not go away.

The tablets Azithral 500, Azicip 500, Azax 500, and Azifast 500 also contains azithromycin as their main ingredient. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its components.
