- Ara Suspension is used to treat painful conditions like headache, toothache, migraine pain, nerve pain, sore throat and general aches and pains in children.
- It is also used to provide relief from the symptoms of cold and flu and reduce fever.
- Ara Suspension is also used to reduce redness and swelling (inflammation).
Contraindications of Ara Suspension 60ml
- If your child is allergic to paracetamol/acetaminophen, aceclofenac or any other ingredient of Ara Suspension.
- If your child has a history of allergies to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs) like ibuprofen and aspirin. If you are not sure what these medicines are, please confirm with your doctor. ...
- If your child is taking any other medicine containing paracetamol.
- If your child is between 2-3 months old and is taking this medicine for other reasons of pain and fever and weighs less than 4 kg or was born before 37 weeks.
- If your child has a history of or has a stomach ulcer or has vomited blood or passed blood in the stools.
- If your child has any heart disease or disorder with the blood flow to the brain.
- If your child had or has problems with blood circulation.
- If your child has bleeding or blood clotting disorders.
- If your child has liver or kidney disorders.

- Ara Suspension contains a combination of aceclofenac and paracetamol/acetaminophen as active substances.
- Aceclofenac and paracetamol are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs) that block the action of a chemical called cyclooxygenase. It is responsible for the formation of certain substances in the body called prostaglandins that cause pain and inflammation....

- Take the exact amount of Ara Suspension as recommended by the doctor.
- Shake well before use.
- Use a measuring cup, spoon or dropper for the exact quantity.
- Do not consume it directly from the bottle.
- Do not take more than the prescribed dose.

Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines can affect the way Ara Suspension works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Inform your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals your child is currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
- Particular care should be taken if your child is taking barbiturates (medicines to help you sleep), tricyclic antidepressants like amitriptyline and selective serotonin-reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) such as citalopram, escitalopram, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine (used for treating and managing depression and pain), lithium (used to treat mental disorders), cholestyramine (used to treat high cholesterol levels), warfarin (used to thin the blood and prevent clotting), zidovudine (used to treat HIV/AIDS), domperidone and metoclopramide (used to treat nausea and vomiting), anticonvulsants (medicines used to treat seizures/fits), medicines used to treat heart failure and irregular heartbeats (digoxin), medicines used to treat high blood pressure (ACE inhibitors such as enalapril, lisinopril; angiotensin II receptor antagonists such as losartan, candesartan; also hydralazine, methyldopa, propranolol), medicines to treat bacterial infections (quinolone antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin and ofloxacin), medicines used to increase the rate of urine excretion (diuretics such as thiazides, furosemide, amiloride), medicines to prevent blood clottings like warfarin, heparin, methotrexate (used to treat cancer and autoimmune disorders such as arthritis and skin conditions), mifepristone (used for medical pregnancy termination), steroids like hydrocortisone and prednisolone (used to treat swelling and inflammation, medicines used to suppress the immune system after an organ transplant (ciclosporin or tacrolimus), medicines used to lower blood sugar levels in diabetes (glibenclamide, gliclazide, tolbutamide), any other painkiller NSAID medicines (aspirin, ibuprofen, COX-2 inhibitors such as celecoxib and etoricoxib) and antiplatelet medicines such as clopidogrel....
