Medical Description

Alergin-L tablet is used to provide relief from various allergic conditions such as a runny or blocked nose, watery eyes, fever, rash, sinus and the common cold. Alergin-L tablet contains levocetirizine, an anti-allergic medicine. This medicine acts by inhibiting the release of the chemical substance histamine, known to cause allergic conditions. Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor for the exact prescribed duration. Sometimes this medicine can cause drowsiness, sleepiness and a dry mouth. However, these side effects get resolved on their own. Alergin-L tablets should not be used by children below 6 years of age.

Alergin-L tablet is used to treat allergic conditions such as a runny or blocked nose, sinus, common cold, hives and rashes.

Contraindications

  • If you are allergic to levocetirizine, cetirizine or any other component of Alergin-L tablet.
  • If you have severe kidney failure.
