Aciloc D 10 mg/150 mg Tablet is a combination medication used to treat stomach pain caused by acidity. Aciloc D successfully decreases gastrointestinal pain, bloating, and cramps by relaxing the mus
cles of the stomach and gut. It also helps to relieve indigestion and heartburn by neutralising excess stomach acid. Aciloc D 10 mg/150 mg Tablet efficiently relieves stomach and intestine (gut) muscular spasms or contractions, relaxing the muscles and increasing food movement. Aciloc D 10 mg/150 mg Tablet contains two ingredients: Dicyclomine and Ranitidine. The medication can be taken with or without meals, as advised by your doctor. Food interactions of Aciloc D 10 mg/150 mg are not seen. Age, medical condition and medication reaction are all factors that contribute to the dosage. To lessen the risk of side effects, the doctor may recommend starting with a low dose and gradually increasing it. Depression, disorientation, delusions, nonreactive pupils, tachycardia and hypertension, are overdose symptoms of Aciloc D. The medicine should be taken as prescribed before meals, and the dose should not be increased or stopped without consulting the doctor. Unless the physician gives the patient permission, alcohol and other CNS depressant medications (antihistamines, sleeping aids, and antidepressants) should not be taken with this medicine. The side effects of Aciloc D 10 mg/150 mg includes constipation, diarrhoea, drowsiness, headache, weakness and muscle pain.

- You should give this medicine to the elderly with caution. The risk for anticholinergic effects, confusion and hallucinations are more in them.
- You must drink 6 to 8 full glasses of water daily to help prevent constipation while taking this medicine.
- You must avoid using stool softener (laxative) without consulting your doctor.
- You must not take antacids (indigestion remedies) within two hours of taking Aciloc D 10 mg/150 mg Tablet.
- You must avoid spicy and fatty fried food.
- You should quit smoking if you are a smoker while taking Aciloc D.

How Does It Work?
Directions for Use of Aciloc D 10/150 Mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
- Take this medicine exactly as told by the doctor, in terms of both dosage and duration.
- Take one pill at a time and swallow whole with water. Do not chew, crush, powder or break the tablet in any way.
- Take Aciloc D tablets with or without food. However, doctors recommend taking them at the same time every day.
- Take Aciloc D as long as your doctor says so, which could be a few months.
- Do stop the medication without consulting the doctor, as it can result in abdominal pain.

Interactions with other medicines
- Anticholinergics like Aciloc D, when used with anti-Parkinson's medicines can worsen symptoms of Parkinson's disease.
- Neuroleptic medications like Haloperidol decreases the effect of anticholinergics.
- Aciloc D Tablet should not be taken in combination with ibuprofen as it can cause adverse interactions.
- CNS depressant medicines interact with Aciloc D, leading to delirium, delusions, dizziness and altered levels of consciousness.
- Type I antiarrhythmics administered with Aciloc D can have harmful cardiovascular effects.
- Narcotic analgesics with Aciloc D can show symptoms of increased toxicity.
