Medical Description
Acecar tablet is used to control high blood pressure and reduce the long-term strain that high pressure places on the heart and blood vessels. It contains a combination of ramipril and hydrochlorothiazide. Ramipril relaxes blood vessels by reducing a body signal that tightens them, while hydrochlorothiazide helps the body remove extra salt and water in urine. Together, these actions lower pressure inside the blood vessels, even when you do not feel unwell. Acecar tablet is taken by mouth and should be used regularly as prescribed, with or without food.
