Zytee lotion is a topical oral medicine used to provide temporary relief from pain and discomfort due to mouth ulcers, dentures or dental attachments such as dental braces. Zytee lotion contains a co

mbination of two medicines, Choline salicylate and Benzalkonium chloride. It has antiseptic and pain-relieving properties. It is meant for topical application and should not be swallowed. You may rarely experience side effects like application site swelling or itching while on treatment with Zytee lotion. However, if you feel the side effects persist or your condition worsens, you should contact your doctor. Avoid consuming food or liquid immediately after application of this lotion.

Contraindications of Zytee Lotion 15ml

If you are allergic to Choline Salicylate, Benzalkonium chloride or any other ingredients of this lotion.
If you have stomach ulcers or ulcers in any part of your gut.
If you have asthma or any respiratory disorders.
It should not be used in children and adolescents under the age of 16.

Avoid contact with eyes, nose. Do not swallow it.
Zytee lotion can cause numbness of the tongue. Hence, care should be taken while eating or drinking hot foods.

Mode of Action of Zytee Lotion 15ml

How Does It Work?

Choline salicylate is an anti-inflammatory medicine and works by inhibiting the chemical substances which are responsible for pain and inflammation.
Benzalkonium chloride is an antiseptic agent. It acts by killing or inhibiting the growth of microorganisms responsible for the infection. It alters the permeability of the cell membrane of bacteria.

Directions for Use of Zytee Lotion 15ml

You should use Zytee lotion as directed by your doctor.
Wash your hands before and after using this medicine.
Apply the lotion and gently rub it onto the affected areas.
You should not eat or drink anything for 30 minutes after applying this medicine.
It is strictly for local (topical) application only and should not be swallowed.
