Zolsoma 5 mg Tablet is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of insomnia. It helps to synchronize the body’s biological day-night rhythm known as circadian rhythm. Insomnia is a sleep disorder that causes difficulty in falling asleep or staying asleep.
Zolsoma 5 mg Tablet is a combination medicine that contains zolpidem and melatonin as the active ingredient. It is a sedative-hypnotic combination of medicine. Zolpidem works by increasing the activity chemical messenger in the brain called Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which act as a natural nerve-calming agent, thereby inducing sleep. Directions for Use of Zolsoma 5mg Tablet
- Take Zolsoma Tablet exactly as prescribed by the doctor
- Take this medication on a regular schedule preferably at the same time every day
- Take the Tablet as a whole with a full glass of water. Do not break/crush the tablet or chew this medicine
- You can take the Zolsoma Tablet before or after consuming food or as prescribed by your doctor
- Do not exceed the recommended dosage as it can lead to overdose
